speaking of birthdays... my moms birthday is at the end of this month and I know exactly what I am doing for her... after her birthday I'll post about the project.. I am really excited about it thought---just had to share!

I found the style I want for our future home.

I found these images from the Lettered Cottage which I found through the Pioneer Woman 

the makeover the Lettered Cottage did on their home is amazing.

I love the nautical/beach theme throughout the whole home and from what i gathered they did most of the remodel themselves and had such awesome ideas. 

one day. (probably in 15 years) when we buy a home I can incorporate ideas like these...

I cannot wait for the day when I will be finished with school.

I feel like I have been in school forever and still have forever to go

but really I probably have a year left depending on a few special things that might come up this year. 

Compared to Dane I am practically done. He still has many years ahead of him.

As I go through the week with school, work, homework, studying, reading ...same same same..

I have to tell you I just can't wait to be done with school and do things that I love or things I want to learn how to do.

I had no idea what that was but I looked it up and I really want to do this and combine free hand embroidery with art

Freddi Fish...

We have played video games more in the past few weeks then this whole year

I got dane (well and myself) an xbox kinect for christmas and it is a whole lot of fun!

Our favorite has got to be beach volleyball. 

totally legit we love it!

all of this video gaming has got me thinking about the games I played when I was little on the computer..

I just remember playing with Heather for hours

turns out Freddi Fish is still alive, they have Wii games for him! haha it made me laugh and there might have been a small part of me that wanted to try it...

just reminisce with me..

Christmas 2010

I took very very few pictures during the break..

i don't like when i do that.

but Christmas was excellent! I loved being back at home with my family, I miss them all so much while we are in Utah finishing up school.

We had lots of fun while we were down there, we played Just Dance 2, ate yummy dinners from my mom, played games, and tennis, watched tess' soccer games, and just hung out together.

The week went by way too fast

especially because i got sick towards the end and slept basically the whole time.. not fair.

Here is a picture of the kids with our Christmas PJs on, my mom made the girls bottoms and the boys got some sweats. My mom is so clever.. she got us T's with our favorite tv shows. Dane&myself = The Office, Brooke&Bret's = Friday Night Lights, Tess = Cake Boss, Noah = Shark Week and Faye&Reese = Disney princesses

I haven't taken a picture of the Christmas gifts my mom made for me (I will eventually) but they were amazing and my favorite gifts I have ever gotten.

She made a quilt for me with all of my old volleyball festival t shirts (seriously incredible) she also made the cutest "grocery" bags
**but they are too cute to use just for shopping so I am using them for everything else too** 

People have complimented me on those bags asking where they could get one -- ya i feel pretty cool.

here are the only pictures i took while we were watching tess play soccer.. and Charlee is in every single one. she's too cute.

All that Jazz

I was sick all day Sunday..

Monday.. I was still not feeling that great but studied for my 4 finals I have this week..

then I get a phone call from Dane..

our friends invited us to the Jazz game that night and immediately I said we had to go..

probably not the best decision for a sick&finals week.

but I am glad we went.
(i stayed up til 3 studying for my test the next day and to my surprise i was feeling so much better. maybe the trick is less sleep..)

We had such a great time with our friends Parker and Whitney

I have never been to a Jazz game but I loved it. 

I am starting to become a Jazz fan.. mostly because of D-Will.

i love spending time with him :)

Birthday

My birthday was a couple of weeks ago.. turned 22!

dane had everything planned for weeks and had wonderful surprises for that week.

On my birthday he made me waffles before we left for class and work and his mom brought me lunch while I was working, so sweet :)

That night we came home and opened presents from him and my family

he picked out boots for me and I loved them (but i have abnormally large calves so it was difficult to get my leg in. we are still looking for a pair of boots ..) my parents sent me a cute outfit and rainboots that i love and brooke also got my a cute outfit. My family is the best thanks and love you!

Now for the surprise...

Dane told me we would be going to dinner Thursday night with our friends Jaci and Reily (Jaci and I have the same birthday) 

Dane was coming home from work when he called and said "Don't ask any questions. Go downstairs, unlock the door and you might want to pick up"

I had no idea who was coming over..

I hear my door open and tiptoes coming up the stairs and I see these people with big hoods on and have no clue who it could have been. 

then they turned around..

it was some girls from my volleyball team

It was such a great surprise! 

I love and miss hanging out with these girls. We caught up before we left for dinner and in the restaurant are more girls from the team! It was such a wonderful surprise and Dane planned out everything. He set up the dinner and contacted everyone, there was around 30 people there. 

I loved this birthday :) and felt so special! Thanks to everyone for making it such a wonderful birthday!

Now : I have 4 finals and a presentation this week to get ready for and I am sick!! perfect timing. I came down with something Sunday and feeling miserable just in time to take on finals.

I can't wait for this week to be over and to head home with my family. I am ready for a sunny/warm weather/no snow Christmas
