St George

We are off to St George for the weekend

noooo

not that St. George in Grenada

but this St. George...

in Southern Utah with some friends

Should be a fun weekend to catch some rays from this guy

especially since my sister and her fam are coming up this week

 hopefully they will stop in st george to see us

and hopefully I will not get too sunburned



1 year

we have been married for one year! 

It seems crazy that a year has gone by
 it has been the best year ever he is the best thing to ever happen to me and I love him so much!!

to celebrate we went up to boise to see Wicked
before the show we decided to go to boise fry company where they have different potatoes
we got a sweet potato, purple potato and an okinawan potato
they were awesome! the burgers... not so much but thats ok

after dinner we headed over to the play and walked around the school and park before it started

then the show finally started.. it was amazing

our seats were awesome and perfect we both really enjoyed wicked and sang it on that way home :)

we only went away for one day but we had a great time
the drive wasn't anything exciting, idaho is not my favorite but there were some pretty green fields every once in a while

Eating Raw

I have been reading a blog lately laureneatsraw.blogspot.com and it has really made me curious about eating raw foods.

Then I think about how much I love meat and cooked foods and baked goods and I stop thinking about going raw...

but then I start to think I am going to try and go semi-raw

I am going to try and eat raw as much as possible but of course eat the occassional chicken or turkey or fish.

we'll see.

we are going away for the weekend for our one year anniversary

I am very excited to get away for a little bit.

when we get back I think I am going to try to transition to raw

Pinterest

I got a pinterest account 

I haven't had time to look around or start mine up 

(and truthfully I probably won't have time until I read these large articles for school--which are all about genes and biology--and have words I've never heard before--plus have no clue how they tie into my major--and i'll need to make sense of those articles to write a few papers) 

so until then it will be blank 

but I am excited to start my pinterest when I am done and have some fun on it

Look Who I Found..in my coupons

I was looking through some coupons that arrive in everyone's mailbox

the ones we usually throw in the junk mail pile

As I was looking through coupons for gutters and airduct cleaning

I was about to give up until I saw...

What is even more strange is when I was driving in my car a couple of months ago around the University of Utah I saw a bus and a large picture of a superhero girl in the same colors Red and Yellow.. I thought it's Faye! I never saw that bus again because I did just take a .0467 second glance but after seeing her in my coupon book it had to be her.

*I need to find that bus*

Birthday for Tess

we celebrated Tess' 16th birthday last week. 

She had a princess family party with the best cake from Ann who made our wedding cake.. awesome.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland with my family last week to celebrate Tess' birthday (16) and Reese's birthday (5)

we had so much fun everyone was there except my dad and charlee who we missed

but it was probably wise they didn't go, i don't think charlee... or my dad for that matter would have survived.

We cheated the system by having our fast pass runners Bret and Dane. We would wait in line and they would take all of our fast passes to the next ride.

I don't think there was a ride we missed.. my favorites are space mountain and thunder railroad

It was Reese's first time on thunder railroad and I wish I could have seen her face.. all we saw was how tightly she was grabbing onto Brooke and Bret. 

I think my favorite ride of the night was the new Toy Story ride in California adventure.

You basically play different arcade games against the person in your car shooting at large interactive computer screens.

reese started out the day right.. we were first in line for monsters inc in CA adventure and whoever could scream the loudest got on first and could cut in the line anytime that day. 

Her body was shaking she was screaming so loud and won!

Dane and I will be with my family soon and doing fun things next week

we can't wait

until then I have 2 tests, and a paper to finish along with other homework assignments.. yay.

this week needs to hurry up and finish already.
