yay for new jobs
I got not just one but two new jobs this semester.
one problem is that they kind of clash with each other because I'll be working at
BYU salt lake center & the U
but hey--- they are close to my home and works perfect with my school schedule :)
I start next week.. wish me luck!
the byu salt lake center right in downtown (and close to the gateway--maybe i'll take some anthro or j.crew breaks...) |
the office at the salt lake center |
At the U I will mostly be here making sure future doctors aren't cheating on their test..
where I will be patrolling.. |
I know it isn't super interesting but thanks for humoring me!
now I am off to pottery barn to find a few frames for our room

catching up
We were in California all last week and it was so much fun
I love going home.
We loved it so much that we even sold our jack johnson tickets so we could stay longer.
Here are pictures of our week :)
On Mondays during the summer my family has been going down to San Onofre (Sano) for the past 10 years. It is one of my favorite things.. watching the sunset, surfing, volleyball, smores, food and friends.
my surfer boy
Charlee was so fun and walking all over the place shes a cutie.
One of the days we went to the Orange County fair...
Tess got a fried Klondike bar.. which was actually very yummy.
Everything at the fair is fried.. they are now selling fried sticks of butter. Sick.
We tried..
a foot+ corn dog |
Cinnamon Rolls |
fried snickers (danes favorite) |
We also rented a paddle board from Hobie and went to the harbor to test it out.
It was a different feeling.. plus it didn't help that I am a baby about cold water and thought it was freezing. I did not want to fall in.
Dane paddling |
my dad with faye
brooke and bret trying tandem.
here is my mom heading out
and Dane and I (Dane is such a good sport because I might or might not have been freaking out about not falling in--i was cold)
We also went one night with my parents and tess to the play In the Heights. A very fun and up beat play. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us come home. It was so much fun!
When we got back to Utah we started to get back to reality with starting new jobs, selling/buying cars, and had an evening to spare at the Dave Matthews Band concert. It was so good. I never really listened to them before but Dane likes them a lot. So I got him tickets a while ago and the music was awesome.
lawn seats at the concert..
which were awesome until a pack of obnoxious kids sat right on top of us... oh well. we had fun!
